Gardzienice was visited by Ms. Monika Smoleń, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Guided by the Director of the Centre, Mr. Włodzimierz Staniewski, our honourable guest inspected the buildings of the palace complex which are restored for artistic and didactic goals in the framework of our project.

We signed a contract for the development of the central and northern part of the park with the company: Garden Concept Architekci Krajobrazu W. Januszczyk, P. Szkołut sp. jawna.

The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (acting as the Intermediate Body of the Programme) authorized the Centre for Theatre practices “Gardzienice” to use project savings to finance the development of the central and northern part of the park in the palace complex.

 

December 29th, 2011

Gardzienice was visited by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Mr. Bogdan Zdrojewski, accompanied by Mr. Krzysztof Hetman, Marshal of Lubelskie Region (head of the regional government) and Włodzimierz Wysocki, Vice-Mayor of Lublin. The guests visited the project site. Minister Zdrojewski and Marshal Hetman promised a subvention for the purchase of stage equipment which will be necessary for organization of artistic events in the renovated buildings.

 

October 13th, 2011

The Centre for Theatre Practices “Gardzienice” hosted a group of high-ranking officials representing ministries of culture and foreign affairs of the European Union and the Eastern Partnership. The guests got acquainted with the project implementation; they visited the construction site of the Granary and were shown a performance by the Gardzienice team. The visit was organized by Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in the framework of the Polish Presidency in the European Union.

We officially introduced “ARCUS” construction company to the building site.

 

March 8th, 2011

We signed a contract with “ARCUS” construction company for the complex renovation of the palace and northern outbuilding.

 

February 8th, 2011

We held a public opening of the tenders for renovation works in the palace and the northern outbuilding. Altogether 5 tenders had been submitted. Their value ranged from 10,375,000 PLN up to 14,013,052.98 PLN.

We announced a public open tender procedure for the renovation of the palace and the northern outbuilding (the main part of the planned investment).

We signed a contract with the consortium of companies ART-KON Sławomir Wszoła and AC-Konserwacja for the development of detailed technical documentation and reconstruction works of the granary.

Włodzimierz Staniewski, the Director of the Centre for Theatre Practices “Gardzienice”, and Bogdan Zdrojewski, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, signed the project financing agreement. The ceremony was held in the presence of invited guests: Mr. Marek Flasiński, the Member of the Regional Government of Lubelskie and Ms. Henryka Strojnowska , the Vice-Voivode (vice-governor) of Lubelskie Region.

Gardzienice was visited by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Mr. Bogdan Zdrojewski, and Mr. Krzysztof Grabczuk, the Marshal of Lubelskie Region (head of the regional government). The guests visited buildings of the palace complex which will be renovated in the framework of the project.

Mr. Bogdan Zdrojewski, acting as the Intermediate Body of the Programme “Infrastructure and environment”, announced the decision to co-finance the project “Construction of the European Centre for Theatre Practices in Gardzienice” with 16.96 million PLN of the European Union subvention in the framework of the Programme “Infrastructure and environment”.
